Civil Engineer / EIT (Engineer-In-Training) - Land Development - Residential, Master Planned Communities, Commercial, Industrial, Mixed Use
Summary
BGE, Inc has an opening on team for a Civil Engineer / Engineer-In-Training (EIT) - Land/Site Development team in our San Antonio Office (San Pedro Ave near Airport).
Responsibilities
- Member of the Land Development Team focusing on specifications for residential master planned communities, mixed-use, and commercial, and other types of projects that include paving, grading, drainage, water lines, sanitary sewers and other miscellaneous items.
- Projects will include a variety of land development civil design, permitting, and applicable software applications including hydrology modeling program, storm drainage programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
- Participate in the Construction Administration process by responding to RFI, reviewing Contractor Submittals, and attending meetings in the field.
- Works well in a team-oriented environment.
- Daily Onsite/In-office Role sitting in our North Austin office (Louis Henna Blvd). No Remote/No Hybrid Options.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Registered E.I.T in Texas (Passed Fundamentals of Engineering FE Exam)
- 1-3 years' work experience
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience serving working with multiple municipalities.
- Experience working on projects for cities, counties, and municipalities is preferred.
