This position requires a true hunter of experienced talent:  someone who can find, attract, build relationships, and hire.  All of your time will be spent sourcing and recruiting Civil Engineers, CAD Designers, Landscape Architects, Environmental professionals, and Survey professionals.  THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. This position can be based in Charlotte, NC or Kennesaw, GA.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and executing full lifecycle recruiting of experienced civil engineering, environmental, landscape architecture, CAD, and Survey professionals to include posting positions, effectively sourcing and screening candidates, interview coordination, and offer delivery. 
  • Develop and establish recruiting strategies and processes aligned with business objectives and company goals.
  • Drive recruiting strategies to establish and grow candidate pipelines for current and projected hiring needs.
  • Build and maintain proactive partnerships with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners in order to better understand their business, manage their staffing needs, offer ideas, solutions and tools.
  • Creatively develop, execute, and/or assist with a variety of recruiting projects and initiatives.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred; High School diploma required. 
  • Must have a minimum of 7 years of full cycle recruiting experience in a recruiting agency or in-house recruiting department sourcing for engineers or similar technical professionals; civil engineering recruiting experience is a huge plus.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully sourcing, recruiting, and hiring for hard-to-fill positions in Engineering or similar technical fields. 
  • Expert-level proficiency with various recruiting tools, including applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Ability to analyze job descriptions and resumes to determine required qualifications to proactively identify qualified candidates.
  • Knowledge of common HR practices, employment and immigration laws and/or government compliance regulations as it relates to recruitment and hiring.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to include proper usage of grammar, punctuation.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including the regular use of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 
  • Willingness and ability to be based in the office and to travel as needed (light travel expected).
  • Local candidates preferred.
