We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Corporate Accounting team. The selected candidate will work closely with the Payroll Administrator and Payroll Manager to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll. The specialist will be tasked with maintaining a positive relationship with employees.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for weekly review of timesheets to ensure overtime is entered correctly and notating policy usage when applicable.
- Assist employees with questions related to timesheet entry.
- Review weekly reports for processing of timesheets in preparation for payroll processing.
- Process payroll data including new hires, changes in employee status, title, schedule, pay rate changes and PTO accruals.
- Perform biweekly audit of payroll.
- Respond to employee requests for copies of employee W-2s and paystubs.
- Process employment verification requests.
- Assist Payroll Administrator and Payroll Manager with additional research and tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years of demonstrated professional experience with payroll responsibilities.
- FPC (Fundamentals of Payroll Certification) is preferred or working towards obtaining certification.
- Ability to commute to our Frisco, TX office.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products is required.
- Experience working with UKG Pro.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, fostering collaborative relationships within the Corporate Accounting team and with employees.
