Responsibilities:
- Will be conducting environmental studies and investigations, e.g. environmental site assessments (Phase I and Phase II), wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species habitat assessments and surveys.
- Assist multiple project tasks or projects across simultaneous assignments for both private and public clients across multiple sectors.
- Review environmental data, reports, permits, and related materials for compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and advise clients accordingly.
- Assist clients with permit coordination, acquisition, compliance, and coordination with regulatory agencies.
- A balanced mix of field and office work.
- Communicate scientific, technical, and regulatory information and guidance to the project team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, biology, ecology, rangeland science, wildlife management, or related field.
- 0-3 years field experience.
- Organizational and business-technical writing skills.
- Effective time-management, written communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional attitude and good decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in team situations and establish strong relationships with other teams, both internal and external.
- Proficient with MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel), Adobe.
- Ability and willingness to conduct fieldwork as needed.
