Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company
Our team designs, builds, and maintains our integrations with our clients. These integrations allow users to continue to use the systems they are already set up with, while gaining the benefit of our spend and expense tooling and experience. Whether through APIs or bank level integrations, our goal is to provide the avenues for our product to reach people where they are currently at in their business.
We’d love to chat if you have:
- At least 8 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree; years of work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Proficiency in an object oriented language (Java or Elixir preferred)
- Experience in designing and developing APIs at scale
- Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for code collaboration and management.
- Ability to write unit tests, integration tests, and perform debugging to ensure the reliability and scalability of backend systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI for automating the build, test, and deployment processes.
- Experience in more advanced or cutting-edge technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Serverless Architectures, AI/ML frameworks, Advanced Cloud Services).
- Experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker.
- Experience in complex problem-solving in large-scale distributed systems, performance optimization, and high-availability systems.

The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL’s bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.
Draper UT pay range
$148,800 - $178,500 USD
