Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

This role will report to the Senior Manager, Corporate Finance and will be a key member to our Corporate Finance Team. As part of the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team, you will be empowered with visibility to the entire organization, which provides a unique opportunity to develop insights that will meaningfully impact our business. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive the month-end & quarter-end close, monthly forecast and annual budget processes 
  • Partner with Accounting, HR, and Finance stakeholders to ensure accuracy of various data sets for metrics and financial statements
  • Play a key role in monthly, quarterly forecasting and management reporting, ensuring a high degree of quality, timeliness, and accuracy, as well as highlighting key business insights
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for senior management, Execs and Board of Directors (e.g., actuals and forecast explanations)
  • Provide insights into budget variances, financial performance including Key Performance Indicators, and cost optimization opportunities
  • Build strong partnerships across the business to develop annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets and forecasts
  • Track, reconcile, and report on monthly workforce planning and headcount
  • Administer access controls for our cloud-based forecasting tool, Adaptive Insights, for new and existing users
  • Maintain and enhance our forecasting models in Adaptive Insights including, but not limited to, workforce forecasting and operating expenses
  • Maintain data integration between Adaptive, NetSuite and Workday
  • Maintain FP&A month-close and quarter-close calendar, chart of accounts, and process documentation
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and presentation materials at the request of management business partners to aid in decision-making

 

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or quantitative field
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A in a public company and/or large private company, preferably with prior/additional experience in a relevant field such as accounting, investment banking, equity research, economics or data analytics
  • Able and willing to come into San Jose HQ as needed (1-2x per week)
  • Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides skills are required
  • Possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proven success partnering and collaborating across a wide spectrum of functions
  • Experience with a cloud financial planning tool, Adaptive Insights experience is a big plus
  • Experience with NetSuite and NetSuite reporting
  • Prior experience in a high-growth global high tech/software/SaaS organization is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and think objectively

The estimated salary  range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role.  Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

San Jose pay range

$99,800 - $124,800 USD
