Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

  • Advanced Degree: Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and programming languages such as Python or R in a cloud-based environment.
  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in a data science role, with a track record of delivering high-impact projects into production.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex business problems and develop data-driven solutions that actually influence the end-user’s workflow.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Experience working in cross-functional teams and partnering with other departments to drive business outcomes.

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • Model Development: Design, develop, and implement predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses to solve complex business problems and extract actionable insights. Think attrition, card decline, potential to spend, etc.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze high volume, complex transaction activity to assess patterns and trends for card declines and correlate with other customer outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to integrate data science solutions into the product roadmap and enhance customer experiences.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest developments in data science and machine learning, and apply them to improve existing processes and methodologies.
  • Mentorship: Join an established senior team and provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
  • Opportunity Identification: Enrich our evolving data stack via contributing to data features/models via dbt or other means.

The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL’s bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

Draper UT pay range

$142,300 - $170,600 USD
