Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

We are searching for a seasoned product leader to lead PM craft development, goal setting and establish product rituals in the AP, AR and Accounting space. Your role will be to define the role of PM, and turbo boost PM’s orientation around clarified craft skills and goals, creating an environment where product work is done transparently, with opportunities for leaders to actively coach and develop talent together.  You will set up cross-functional tracks of execution, quickly mature the way we operate, and aid in attracting talent to support our growing team. 

You will be responsible for a wide range of initiatives, including:

  • Define PM Craft Skills: Work across teams at Bill to define the craft skills by level needed to succeed in the ever-changing environment of tech today. 
  • Know your customer: Ensure you and cross-functional teams at Bill continually build empathy for accounting professionals and their clients, so strategy and priorities are built on top of a solid foundation of customer understanding.
  • Rapid experimentation: Set up and nurture an ongoing queue of experiments that inform the next set of massive growth levers for the company.
  • Operational excellence: Establish a lightweight set of operating mechanisms that accelerate execution, facilitate fast decision-making, and empower PM/XD/PD while enabling leaders to inspect and coach. Develop and implement systems to track key metrics and disseminate information.
  • Optimize execution: Bring together cross-functional teams, onboard them to the business unit’s operating model, set the pace of execution, and translate executive guidance to decision-making principles that enable speed, autonomy, and transparency.
  • Talent management: Work cross-functionally and with your GM to understand the evolving needs of the business, identify any talent gaps that may hinder execution, and leverage your extensive network to attract high-performing talent to critical new roles.

Bring together PMM and Product: Through a clear and aligned POV on product strategy and direction, with themed releases for broader PMM impact.

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • Has a natural proclivity to create and nurture community, bringing many different functions together around a common purpose
  • Proven experience as an operator (product, marketing or COS) or similar high-level role within a fast-paced and results-oriented organization.
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles and P&L responsibilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a demanding environment.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to draft clear and concise reports and presentations.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable
  • MBA highly desirable
  • Consulting experience highly desirable

The estimated salary  range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role.  Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

San Jose pay range

$219,400 - $274,300 USD
