Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

As a Research Operations Manager, you will sit on a centralized Product Research and Market Research team. You will be responsible for multiple democratized research programs including owning our knowledge management, maintaining our suite of research tools and overseeing lab spaces and equipment. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with researchers, designers, product managers, marketers, and procurement to streamline workflows and strengthen customer understanding across the product development organization. You bring creativity to the operations aspects of a research team and deal with solving the “how”, freeing up your peers to focus on crafting the “what”.

  • Manage day-to-day activities and activate new research programs that support the product and marketing organizations. Provide tooling and training materials to partners and monitoring utilization, providing recommendations for improvements. 
  • Evolve and drive knowledge management systems including our Research Hub and research repository, ensuring things are up-to-date and accessible. Establish integrations with other tools to ensure customers insights are amplified throughout the product development process. 
  • Oversee utilization, renewals, and migrations of existing tools and vendors. Manage budgets associated with suppliers. 
  • Continuously examine, experiment, and measure improvements to our operations model and processes (e.g. automating tasks, improving workflows, developing repeatable methodologies). Create documentation to support new processes. 
  • Support intake and prioritization of research requests across Research, Design, Product, and Marketing.

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • 2+ years of direct experience working in research operations or similar operations functions. 
  • Demonstrated experience in collaboration and building relationships with cross functional partners
  • Demonstrated experience in prioritization and documenting trade-offs 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong experience with working independently, excel in multi-tasking, time-management, detail orientation and documentation. 
  • Experience with tooling sets that include CRM tools, project management tools and documentation tools such as Rally, Qualtrics, Maze, ProductBoard, Asana, Confluence, JIRA etc. 
  • Experience with budget processes and tools. 
  • Experience in the research participant recruitment, ie, schedule participants for research sessions, schedule compensation, collaborate with researchers and cross functional stakeholders throughout a project.

The estimated salary  range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role.  Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

San Jose pay range

$99,900 - $120,000 USD
