Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

This role will serve as a key strategic advisor and right-hand person to the President of Finance. You will be responsible for managing the rhythm of business for BILL’s executive team, leading select strategic initiatives on behalf of the President, providing strategic decision support, and ensuring seamless communication and coordination at the executive team level. This position will report to the Chief of Staff to the President, based in San Jose.

Key Areas of Responsibility: 

  • Autonomously drives important strategic initiatives, working on critical issues that impact BILL’s success. Ensures their work is integrated with other areas and aligned with the strategic priorities of the organization. 
  • Support BILL’s President in all aspects of leading the organization: strategy, planning, operations, cadence, org design, communication flow. Proactively anticipates and resolves critical issues that impact organizational success.
  • Builds trust-based relationships with the executive team. 
  • Leads through influence at all levels of the organization. Inspires resilience and champions continuous improvement.

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • 12+ years of total work experience, including 7+ years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy and development, or an equivalent function at a high-growth company
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and extract actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong bias for action, urgency, and a radical ownership mentality
  • Strong cross-functional leader and natural collaborator - have had a strong partnership with c-suite executive team members
  • Ability to drive key initiatives to successful outcomes in a high-growth technology organization.
  • Learner, naturally curious, and self-aware
  • Strong understanding of business drivers and KPIs
  • Excels at balancing competing priorities across multiple projects and rationally prioritizing time investment
  • Thoughtful and empathetic team player

The estimated salary  range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role.  Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

San Jose pay range

$197,600 - $247,500 USD
