Unified Accountant Console (UAC) team

Our team’s mission is to deliver world class services to our customers so they can be successful and continue thriving on bill.com platform. We use Java, React/Angular, Oracle/MySql/Dynamo, microservice, AWS, Docker,  and other technologies to cover wide range use cases including Onboarding, client management,  user/role management, reporting and help customers to enable other core bill.com services in their daily usage on BILL.

In this role you will:  

  • Design and implement web applications/Saas solutions using  modern server side technologies.
  • Build systems for scale, with performance and security in mind.
  • Use Java 8 or later, Sql/NoSql, WebServices, Http, Rest API, AWS and other technologies.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to refine requirements, provide estimation with minimum supervision.  
  • Write unit and automation tests to ensure higher code and product quality.
  • Help and solve customer issues with passion and speed.
  • Drive for excellence, and exercise ownership/accountability principles.
  • Serve as a team player.

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, or closely related field.
  • 2+ years of server side software development experience with a bachelor’s degree, or entry level with a Master’s.
  • Knowledge of best practices & patterns for large scale applications in web domains.
  • Programming knowledge in Java 8 or above.
  • Database knowledge writing complex, high performance SQL queries.
  • Solid background in data structure/algorithms.
  • Experience implementing and managing monitoring solutions using logs, metrics, and traces to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Ability to think from the customer's perspective, takeing ownership from beginning to end, including post-production.
  • AWS experience is plus (lambda, ECS, dynamoDB, ELB, API Gateway,etc).
  • Able to solve complex problems with minimum help from lead.
  • Familiar with all aspects of SDLC including code reviews, unit testing, automation testing, and CI/CD
  • Experience with system design.
  • Business acumen - able to leverage the platform to solve business problems.
  • Passion for great products and building great customer experiences.
