The Opportunity

We are looking for a driven and self-motivated Account Executive to join our growing team. They will work in conjunction with Outside Sales Team to achieve sales growth goals and maintenance of existing/new Biocare Medical clients within assigned regions. The ideal candidate is one who demonstrates they have the attitude, aptitude, and ambition to make a difference for good and for growth within our organization.

Essential Functions

  • Work in conjunction with Outside Sales Team to retain current business and attain sales growth target within assigned territory for reagents/instrumentation.
  • Work with and support Outside Sales Team to increase revenue through prospecting, building a sales pipeline, and closing business.
  • Provide timely and effective sales, service and support via phone and e-mail communication to ensure routine client satisfaction.
  • Interface with Sales Management, Marketing, Education, R&D, Technical Support and Field Applications Team to assist in securing new business opportunities, ensure proper client training, and resolve client issues.
  • Adhere to “in office” hours and “prime call time” schedules as directed by Regional Sales Director.
  • Participate in tradeshows, seminars, and workshops as required.
  • Work effectively with Sales Management and fellow employees to achieve goals and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Ensure client information is recorded and maintained SalesForce.Com
  • Timely and routine client communication regarding product backorder and discontinuation status.
  • Qualify all sales leads, allocate as appropriate, and drive leads through the sales process by initiating face-to-face appointments with Outside Sales team.
  • Routinely meet or surpass daily, weekly and monthly phone and email communication goals.
  • Adherence to all Biocare Medical policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree with two to five (2-5) years of demonstrated success with Capital and/or Consumable Sales within Life Science/Medical field. 
  • Working knowledge of Histology and Immunohistochemistry preferred.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills. Experience with MS Office preferred.
  • Capacity and initiative for continual self-education (following initial corporate training sessions) in order to facilitate self-improvement and goal achievement.
  • Effective presentation/public speaking skills.
  • Strong Internet research skills required.
  • Experience in medical/life science/laboratory capital equipment/consumable sales preferred.
  • Experience with Customer Relations Management Software programs preferred.
  • Available to work Onsite at our Tampa, FL office. 

Compensation Range

  •  $60,000 - $70,000 Annually (plus commission)

Expected Hours of Work

  • Work schedules will be staggered to reflect international and US Regional time zones. This position may require extended weekday or weekend hours depending on business needs.
