Position Details
Biocore has an immediate opening for a full-time Associate Technical Sales and Account Manager. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Technical Sales and Account Manager to join our growing team. This is a unique role for an individual passionate about the intersection of sports, technology, and biomechanics. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our business and engineering teams in developing new customers and markets and driving sales of our biomechanics-driven products to professional sports leagues and teams, with a primary focus on American football. Additionally, this role will manage the implementation and support of these products both internally and externally, ensuring our customers achieve maximum value. The position is based at our primary office in Charlottesville, VA.

Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Sports Science, Engineering, or Business. Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, technical support, or project management role.
- Exposure to and/or experience in high-level amateur or professional sports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Sales:
- Prospect and develop new business relationships with key decision-makers within professional and collegiate sports organizations.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, effectively communicating the technical and biomechanical benefits of our products to coaches, athletic trainers, and executives.
- Serve as the subject matter expert, answering technical questions and addressing customer concerns.
- Collaborate with the Biocore team to develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Track and report on sales pipeline, customer interactions, and progress.
- Project Management & Implementation:
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of new product and services for customers, including onboarding and training.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and support during the onboarding phase and beyond.
- Train customer staff on proper product usage, data interpretation, and best practices to ensure successful adoption.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and successful delivery.
- Gather customer feedback and work with the product development team to drive continuous improvement and influence future product features and enhancements.
- Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing accounts.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for our customers, understanding their needs and business objectives.
- Proactively manage customer expectations and resolve any issues to ensure a positive experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Biomechanics Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of biomechanics, human movement, and injury prevention principles.
- Sports Industry: Strong understanding of the sports ecosystem, with a keen interest in American football.
- Technical Sales: Prior experience in a technical sales role selling a hardware or software product.
- Sports Data and Analytics: Familiarity with data analysis and the use of sports performance metrics.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate findings, both verbally and in writing.
- Attention to Detail: Strong documentation skills and process oriented.
- Ability to travel: Visit customer sites for meetings and demonstrations.
