Analyst, Portfolio Reporting

BioMed Realty is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to support the company’s portfolio reporting and finance functions. The successful candidate will provide analysis of the company’s real estate portfolio and will be responsible for preparing, aggregating, and reporting monthly and quarterly findings used by senior management and other key stakeholders to evaluate performance and operational trends.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze lease transactions and related documentation to report portfolio metrics
• Update and maintain leasing and portfolio databases to support the reporting of portfolio metrics and leasing activity
• Assist in the preparation and aggregation of company, portfolio and investor reporting materials and presentations
• Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of results
• Prepare, review and analyze asset level and key portfolio performance metrics related to the company’s leasing activities for both internal and external users
• Perform diligent and detailed review of various reporting materials for accuracy, grammar, formatting, and consistency across deliverables
• Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, and the organization’s enterprise reporting software, Oracle EPM Cloud, in support of above efforts
• Tenant credit underwriting and analysis efforts
• Support the portfolio reporting and finance team with other recurring or ad hoc projects as needed such as property and portfolio forecasting, modeling, and other financial analysis

Job Specifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
• 1 - 3 years of commercial real estate, accounting, corporate finance or reporting experience
• Exposure to corporate financial analysis, reporting or accounting with an understanding of real estate fundamentals is a plus
• Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to self-review work and attention to detail is required
• Organized and task oriented, able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple deadlines, and readily adaptable to changing priorities
• Ability to efficiently coordinate the flow of data from multiple sources and aggregate into a combined reporting platform, while maintaining an understanding of the data “point of entry” and subsequent flow into multiple locations and reports

Salary Range: $78,000 - $97,500 per year + bonus + benefits
