Birgo is a mission-driven company seeking a Maintenance Technician for 8 apartment communities in Lockport, NY, totaling 500+ units. Experience with apartments/multi-family a plus. Join our fast-growing team to improve lives through real estate!

Pay and Benefits

• $22-28 per hour commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix plumbing leaks
• Troubleshoot appliance repairs
• Repairs/work orders including drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or HVAC 
• Turnovers/make-readies
• Unit renovations
• Preventative maintenance
• On-call emergency maintenance
• Other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate

Requirements

• Experienced in property maintenance
• Well-rounded skill set
• Eligible to work in the United States 
• Valid driver’s license
• Personal and reliable mode of transportation
• Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
• Safely utilize power tools
• Work in confined spaces; ascend and descend ladders and staircases
