At Birgo Realty, we’re looking for a Property Manager who brings both strategic thinking and a heart for service. You’ll oversee a multifamily portfolio of 240 units across four properties in North Versailles, Edgewood, Wilmerding, and East McKeesport, providing the steady leadership needed to support residents and the Birgo team that serves them. These communities require a patient, thoughtful manager who can keep projects moving while maintaining strong relationships on the ground.
This role is ideal for someone with proven experience managing complex renovations and property improvements, along with a sincere commitment to doing work that matters. You’ll guide and develop on-site teams, elevate the resident experience, and ensure the portfolio’s financial performance remains strong. Just as importantly, you’ll model professionalism, integrity, and empathy to the Birgo Realty standard.

Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000

Core Responsibilities
- Maximize operational performance of properties
- Lead, manage, and train the team to accomplish the goals of the property group (assistant property manager, maintenance supervisor, and in-house maintenance crew)
- Provide excellent customer service through prompt, professional, and authentically caring responses
- Lead the leasing efforts for your property group by executing or overseeing advertising, applications, showings, walkthroughs, move-ins, and renewals
- Conduct monthly budget reporting; collaborate with asset management on annual budgets; approve weekly payables
- Manage collections, delinquencies, and evictions
- Oversee the completion of maintenance tasks and enhance the property's curb appeal
- Maintain clean and safe properties by resolving tenant complaints, conducting weekly onsite inspections, and enforcing rules of occupancy
- Coordinate building renovations and other services with external vendors
- Set the scope of turnovers and capital projects
- Lead the onboarding of new properties to the property group if needed
- Other duties as assigned to help Birgo improve lives through real estate
Successful Candidate Profile
Experience
- 4+ years of experience as a property manager
- In-depth understanding of Pittsburgh's market-rate multi-family real estate industry
- Experience with AppFolio or other property management software
- Experience managing renovations across several properties
Skills

- Strong skills in written, verbal, and persuasive communication

Other Requirements
- Reliable personal transportation and valid driver’s license for property visits
- Able to ascend/descend stairs and traverse uneven terrain
- Able to transport up to 25 lbs
- Able to use a computer for a full workday
Leasing Office Information
- This is an in-person position with limited remote work opportunities.
- The leasing office is located at Landmark Apartments in North Versailles.
- Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00am (winter) or 9:00am-6:00pm (summer) with select Saturday availability if needed.
- This position will be in the on-call queue for their assigned properties.
