Join our fast-growing team to improve lives through real estate! Birgo is a mission-driven company seeking a Maintenance Technician for apartment buildings in North Versailles, East McKeesport, Wilmerding, and Edgewood.

Pay and Benefits

• $23-26/hour, paid weekly
• Schedule: Monday–Friday 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. + on-call rotation

Responsibilities

• Turnovers/make-readies
• Repairs such as drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or HVAC
• Commons work orders include unclogging drains, changing p-traps, replacing light fixtures, etc.
• Preventative maintenance
• Rotating on-call service for after-hours maintenance
• Other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate

Requirements

• Well-rounded skill set in building maintenance
• Experience using tools
• Eligible to work in the United States 
• Valid driver’s license
• Personal, reliable, and insured vehicle
• Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
• Safely utilize power tools
• Work in confined spaces; ascend and descend ladders and staircases
