SEO Content Specialist

Bitcoin Depot is looking for an SEO Content Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing team and help us Bring Crypto to the Masses.

The ideal SEO Content Specialist will be great at long-form and short form writing. The successful candidate will be able to deliver a portfolio of past content for blogs, press releases, emails, social media, ads, signage, etc. This person will report to the Director of Marketing and will be responsible for producing content for multiple Bitcoin Depot external and internal projects. 

Bitcoin Depot is the largest Bitcoin ATM Network in the world offering users the ability to buy and sell Bitcoin at thousands of BTM and BDCheckout locations.

Responsibilities: 

• Write on-strategy long-form content for Bitcoin Depot blogs, press releases, emails, Sales support materials, etc. You’ll research topics, prioritize them based on opportunity, competitiveness, and potential organic search ranking value, and be expected to deliver a set number of regular articles at a high standard. AI-generated content is not permissible. 
• Write on-strategy short-form content for signage, social media, slide decks, ads, etc. You should be well-versed at using different brand tones for different platforms and audiences. 
• Incorporate SEO keywords into all external Bitcoin Depot writing and help develop, track, and iterate on our broader SEO strategy. 
• Periodically analyze and compare competitor search rankings and primary keywords, and identify opportunities for the Marketing team to keep us ahead of others in our industry. Drive implementation and changes based on these opportunities. 
• Monthly analysis of bitcoindepot.com for performance optimization.
• Proofread and edit content others produce from internal and external personnel (vendor and agency partners) as needed
• Work closely with other members of the Marketing team and graphic designers to pair content with engaging, but also optimized keywords.
• Ensure that all content creation maximizes company SEO and positions leadership as thought leaders in the FinTech industry
• Be the subject matter expert for all things content related for the entire company
• Work with Marketing leadership to set project deadlines and content goals
• Adhere to creative department and brand standards throughout the Bitcoin Depot organization
• Develops and maintains strong, collaborative relationships across the organization
• Other duties as assigned
• Bonus points: Experience writing content for engaging, sales-driving email / lifecycle marketing campaigns. 
• More bonus points: Experience with WordPress.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, integrated communication or a related field
• 3+ years of related experience in a fast pace working environment (i.e. agencies)
• Must have cryptocurrency experience
• A killer portfolio of copywriting and storytelling
• Strong work ethic (a “That’s not my job.” attitude will not work at Bitcoin Depot.)
• An incredible eye for detail and a “flawless execution always” attitude

• Experience with SEMRush, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Slack, and other common office productivity and communication tools.
