Marketing Generalist, BitGo Labs

Palo Alto, California, United States

BitGo (NYSE: BTGO) is the digital asset infrastructure company delivering custody, wallets, staking, trading, financing, stablecoins, and settlement services from regulated cold storage. Since 2013, BitGo has focused on accelerating the transition of the financial system to a digital asset economy. BitGo maintains a global presence and multiple regulated entities, including BitGo Bank & Trust, National Association, the first federally chartered digital asset trust bank owned by a publicly traded company. Today, BitGo serves thousands of institutions, including many of the industry's top brands, financial institutions, exchanges, and platforms, and millions of investors worldwide. For more information, visit www.bitgo.com.

BitGo spent a decade building the infrastructure the digital asset industry runs on. Custody, settlement, wallets, a national trust bank charter. Rails that institutions trust with hundreds of billions of dollars.

Custody is the operating system. BitGo Labs builds the apps.

We are looking for a marketing Generalist who wants to take more real products to market in one term than most marketers launch in years.

What BitGo Labs is

Most corporate innovation labs are where ideas go to be studied. Decks get made. Pilots get piloted. Nothing ever meets a customer.

We built Labs to be the opposite of that. We push out real, live, revenue-generating products, and every one has to clear the same two-part bar:

  • A value proposition or economics only possible because of crypto. If a normal company could build it on normal rails, it fails the test.
  • Only buildable this fast because of AI. Three months from blank page to live product. Not a prototype, not a beta behind a waitlist. Live.

Some of these products will become businesses. Some will be shut down on schedule, without ceremony, because the numbers said so. Both outcomes are the system working.

What You'll Do:

You’ll sit right next to the product and engineering teams, working to put these 90-day products into the hands of real users.

A cycle looks like this:

  • Pre-GTM Strategy: Take a product thesis and figure out who the first user is. Define the wedge, the messaging, and the distribution channels before the code is even finished.
  • Demand Generation & SEO: Build the engine that gets eyes on the product. Use AI to spin up optimized landing pages, test copy, and hack organic growth in days, not months.
  • Social Media & Community: Be the voice of our new launches. You'll own the social media strategy to build hype, tap into crypto culture, and directly engage with our early adopters.
  • Post-GTM & User Adoption: Read the results honestly. Look at the analytics, track user adoption, and figure out what’s actually converting versus what's just noise.
  • Iterate or Kill It: Set the bar before launch. Real numbers, committed in advance, that decide a campaign's fate. If a channel isn't hitting the numbers, you kill it and start the next one without a mourning period.

You will not be handed a generic marketing playbook. You'll be handed products, a budget, and a deadline.

Who Would Be a Great Fit:

  • Someone who has marketed something from nothing. A side hustle, a startup, a newsletter, or a personal brand. "I scheduled tweets for an existing brand" is a different job.
  • Professional experience in Marketing, Growth, Communications, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving user acquisition and engagement.
  • Someone who builds. You prototype with AI tools, wire up your own landing pages, generate your own copy, and run your own analytics. The era of the marketer who can only write briefs for an agency is over, and you're glad.
  • Someone comfortable with crypto, or unafraid of getting there fast. You understand internet culture, crypto Twitter (X), and what makes people actually click.
  • Someone who decides. Small team, short cycles, no committee coming to save you.
  • Someone who can kill their own work. Shut down the campaign, take the learning, and start the next one without a mourning period. We screen for this.

The honest part

This role has no stable roadmap, no massive marketing agency support, and no tidy org chart. Some of the products you market will be shut down, and your campaigns along with them. If you want a sleepy corporate job analyzing a single ad campaign for months, this is the wrong job, and we'd rather you know now.

But if you’ve ever looked at a massive company’s resources and thought about the massive growth you could drive if someone just let you run fast—this is the job where someone lets you.
