Software Engineering Intern - Prime Trade

The Prime Trade Engineering team empowers BitGo’s global liquidity solutions, including OTC and E-Trade. Our platforms offer seamless trading without sacrificing the high standards of security offered in BitGo custodial accounts. The Engineering team ensures continuous delivery, reliable uptime, and minimal outages, and operates with accountability to, and alignment with, clients, business and product stakeholders.

About our stack:
* Frontend - React, Typescript, NextJS
* Backend - Go, Typescript, PostgreSQL
* DevOps - Kubernetes, Docker, AWS

Responsibilities:

• Design and build strong, resilient, and robust services, APIs, and libraries, to power our trading, clearing and settlement financial services
• Develop functionality and scalability features in conjunction with the engineering and product teams
• Improve resilience of services through documentation, testing, and tooling
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure consistency in understanding of technical requirements and overall work quality

Requirements:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Fluency in at least one modern backend programming language
• Comfortable working full-stack
• Solid engineering fundamentals and passion for high quality code
• Product intuition, user empathy, ability to make sound UX decisions
• Strong work ethic
• Interest in crypto and blockchain preferred
• Interest in the financial industry

If you will be working from Canada: the current target rate for 2026 interns in Canada is $60 CAD per hour. If the market indicates this needs to change, we would share this with you during your interview process.
