BitGo is looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our Go Network team.
The Go Network Engineering team powers BitGo’s institutional settlement platform, delivering Off-Exchange Settlement (OES) and Delivery-versus-Payment (DvP). Our platform enables real-time allocation and settlement across digital assets and USD with the security of BitGo custody. We ensure continuous delivery and resilient infrastructure, operating in alignment with clients, business, and product stakeholders.
About our team’s stack:
* Frontend - React, Typescript, NextJS
* Backend - Go, Typescript, PostgreSQL
* DevOps - Kubernetes, Docker, AWS
Responsibilities
- Work with engineers to design, implement, and test production quality features
- Write clean, efficient, and well documented code across the stack
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance improvements
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and prototype new product ideas
- Solve algorithmic and data structure problems as part of building core systems
- Learn and apply software engineering best practices in a real world environment
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language
- Comfortable working full-stack
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
- Comfortable learning new frameworks and technologies quickly
- Solid grasp of engineering fundamentals (testing, debugging, complexity analysis)
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for solving challenging technical problems
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Interest in crypto and blockchain is preferred
If you will be working from Canada: the current target rate for 2026 interns in Canada is $60 CAD per hour. If the market indicates this needs to change, we would share this with you during your interview process.
