Software Engineer Intern - Go Accounts (Winter 2026)

BitGo is looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our Go Accounts organization. Go Accounts are omnibus wallets that abstract away many complexities of crypto while enabling features like staking, trading, and financing. Come help our platform-level team build services that enable customers to securely store and access their cryptocurrency while meeting compliance requirements around the world.

About our stack:

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable, well abstracted, and robust APIs, libraries, and services to empower our API-first platform
• Own functionality and scalability features by taking responsibility from inception to deployment and customer integration
• Expose and document functionality to the UI, third-party developers, and our internal and external tooling
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand and refine product requirements

Requirements:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Fluency in at least one modern backend programming language
• Comfortable working full-stack
• Solid engineering fundamentals and passion for high quality code
• Product intuition, user empathy, ability to make sound UX decisions
• Strong work ethic
• Interest in crypto and blockchain preferred

If you will be working from Canada: the current target rate for 2026 interns in Canada is $60 CAD per hour. If the market indicates this needs to change, we would share this with you during your interview process.
