Portfolio Role: Marketing Manager

Fully remote, based between Pacific Time Zone (Los Angeles, U.S.) and GMT+3 (Istanbul)

THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team! This role is highly cross-functional and requires uniting internal and external stakeholders to craft and execute innovative marketing strategies. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-energy, creative, and collaborative environment. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
● Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness.
● Oversee planning and implementation of digital marketing campaigns, (SEO, SEM, email marketing, etc.)
● Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends / opportunities.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.
● Develop content strategies to engage target audiences and support lead generation and conversion goals.
● Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, utilizing data-driven insights to achieve KPIs.
● Manage external relationships, partners, agencies, and vendors to ensure alignment brand standards.
● Lead the creation and maintenance of marketing, ensuring consistency with brand identity / messaging.
● Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices, integrating innovative approaches.
● Understand indie marketing strategies with creative problem solving.


EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
● 5+ years of experience in marketing, community, or influencer management with a proven track record.
● Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth.
● Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
● Proficiency in marketing, social media, and platforms tools.
● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners.
● Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
● Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.


PLUSES:
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
● Advanced degree or relevant certifications.
● Experience in the technology or software development industry.
● Familiarity with product marketing and go-to-market strategies.
● Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles and their application in marketing.
● Experience with international marketing and understanding of global market dynamics.
● Fluency in multiple languages.
