Director, Behavioral Health Services

Currently, we provide virtual and in-person mental health services - including comprehensive evaluations, medication- management and therapy - across Pennsylvania and Virginia with plans to expand to new markets in 2025.
About the Role:
As a key member of our clinical leadership team, the Director will play a critical role in ensuring that our clinical services are of the highest quality and meet the needs of our patients. This position is responsible for setting clinical standards, providing clinical oversight, helping the entire clinical services team move towards truly integrated care, advancing clinical approaches, and maintaining the highest levels of clinical quality and compliance for our patients, families, and providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of clinical site managers and remote managers both administratively and clinically to ensure excellent patient care through group and one-on-one performance coaching and mentoring.
- Ensure managers and therapists are meeting productivity and caseload standards by supporting their ability to build, manage and maintain their schedules.
- Provide leadership and management to our team of full time and 1099 psychotherapists (Master’s level clinicians- LPC, LCSW, LMFTs).
- In collaboration with the VP, develop effective organization-wide clinical training programs and support onboarding on new hires.
- Oversee the development and implementation of evidence-based treatment plans.
- Ensure that our clinical services are in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Work with the Clinical Managers and Talent Acquisition to support recruitment and retention of therapist talent.
- Collaborate with our team of other health care professionals and support staff to ensure that our patients receive integrated, personalized, and comprehensive care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and help to identify areas for improvement in our clinical services.
- Create and use outcomes to measure changes in a clients quality of life resulting from treatment.
- Consult with all members of the treatment team on therapeutic issues.
- In collaboration with the VP, develop consistent clinical protocols.
Requirements:
- Hold at least a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or related field.
- Hold PA/VA license to practice psychotherapy, which includes maintaining all necessary continuing education requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in an administrative or leadership role in a behavioral health setting
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions, early identification, and best practices
- Experience and a passion for working with kids and adolescents
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices in the field of psychotherapy
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of clinicians
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytic, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and growing environment
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to behavioral health services

Salary Range
$110 - $130 USD
