About The Role:
Under the direction of the Director of Early Childhood Services, the Diagnostic Evaluator will conduct diagnostic evaluations, develop diagnostic reports (including service needs and recommendations), and provide diagnostic feedback to individuals and/or their caregivers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Conduct neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations such as autism spectrum evals (ADOS 2, ASRS, CARS), analyze and interpret data, and write evaluation reports.
- Training provided for interested candidates
- Provide feedback to clients after evaluations.
- Communicate with team members during the evaluation process as needed
- Provide written requests for outside services (such as applied behavior analysis and or MA) as needed.
- Communicate findings of the evaluation to all team members.
- Participate in weekly department and team meetings, communicating any client needs with the treatment team as well as providing feedback and/or consultation to any treatment member as needed.
- Complete documentation for evaluations within 24 hours of services.
- Manage your schedule, including scheduling assessments, feedback appointments, maintaining report writing time, and rescheduling any cancellations or make-up appointments.
- Report weekly productivity.
REQUIREMENTS:
- The diagnostician will have ample knowledge of both typical and atypical development
- The diagnostician will be able to utilize and implement evidence based practices related to the field of assessment and diagnosis.
- Hold at least a Master’s degree in a related field of psychology.
- Hold a valid license as a LCSW, LPC or LMFT in your state of employment, which includes maintaining all necessary continuing education requirements is required
- At least 1 year of experience providing clinical diagnosis (using DSM5-TR or DC0-5) evaluations.
- Trained and certified to administer the ADOS 2 assessment preferred but not required.
- Consistently reliable internet access for any telehealth provisions.
- Ability to work up to 3 days a week from our King of Prussia, PA clinic. The remainder of your work can be performed remotely.
- Potential for some evenings and/or weekends based on client need
Salary Range
$70,000 - $90,000 USD
