Position Summary
Blackbird Health is looking for a Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our team in Centerville, Virginia. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and be empowered to make a tangible difference in the lives of young patients and their families. Employment Options Available
We offer both full-time employee, part-time and contract positions for independently licensed therapists (LCSW, LPC, LMFT & PsyD). Please indicate your employment preference in your application.
1099 Contractor - Hybrid Role
- Commitment: Minimum of 5 hours per week during core hours
- Schedule: After 4pm Monday-Friday and 8am-7pm weekends
- Work Model: Hybrid (virtual and in-person) with a minimum of 1 day a week onsite
- Compensation: $90-$100 per hour
W-2 Employee - Part-Time (20 hours/week)
- Commitment: 16 hours of direct therapy per week including 8 after-school hours
- Schedule: Flexible within business needs, emphasizing after 4pm weekdays and weekends
- Work Model: In Person
- Compensation: $42,500-$47,500 annually
- Benefits: Available
W-2 Employee - Full-Time (40 hours/week)
- Commitment: 32 hours of direct therapy per week including 15 after-school hours
- Schedule: Flexible within business needs, emphasizing after 4pm weekdays and weekends
- Work Model: Hybrid (virtual and in-person) with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
- Compensation: $85,000-$95,000 annually
- Benefits: Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K with match, & generous PTO
What makes you, you:
- Experienced clinician using evidence-based practices
- Passionate about working with children, adolescents, young adults and their families
- Skilled and experienced in facilitating both in person and virtual telehealth direct care
- Comfortable using technology, including Google Suite, Electronic Medical Records systems and other virtual platforms
- Excited to make an impact and driven by patient outcomes
- Possess outstanding communication and documentation skills
- Willing to go the extra mile when working with families, with the flexibility and willingness to reschedule with patients, if needed
- Open to professional and clinical feedback and interested in working in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment
- Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness
How you'll make an impact:
- Lead individual therapy sessions to youth ages 2-26
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services by meeting with patients regularly to provide counseling, individualized treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Invest in your patient relationships by establishing positive, trusting rapport with patients
- Participate in consultation to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback and support
- Collaborate with other specialty providers to establish an Integrated Treatment Plan
- Maintain thorough patient records and documentation
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress and maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress
- Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate
The basics you'll need:
- Independently licensed as a LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD in Virginia
- Possess one (1) year of experience working with children and adolescent patients
- Have one (1) year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting
- Own your own phone, computer, and high-speed internet (if applicable as a 1099 contractor)
- Flexibility to work during Blackbird's core after-school hours: after 4pm ET during the week and/or weekends
