Position Summary
Blackbird Clinical Services is looking to hire an Independently Licensed Mental Health Therapist, Contract to join our growing team. This hybrid role will work with our Behavioral Health team to deliver high quality direct care to patients and their families. Our ideal candidate has experience and a passion for working with children, adolescents and young adults. This role supports our patients' needs for afterschool, evening and weekend direct care, virtual, telehealth therapy sessions.

- Skilled and experienced in facilitating virtual telehealth direct care
- Comfortable using technology, including Google Suite, Electronic Medical Records systems and other virtual platforms
- Excited to make an impact and driven by patient outcomes
- Possess outstanding communication and documentation skills
- Willing to go the extra mile when working with families, with the flexibility and willingness to reschedule with patients, if needed
How you’ll make an impact:
- Lead individual telehealth therapy sessions to youth ages 2-26
- Participate in consultation to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback and support
- Collaborate and engage with other healthcare professionals and families
- Maintain thorough patient records and documentation
- Commit to a minimum of 5 hours per week during core hours, after 4pm Monday through Friday and 8am-7pm Weekends
The basics you’ll need:
- Independently licensed as a LPC, LMFT, LCSW, PsyD in Virginia
- Possess (1) one year of experience working with children and adolescent patients
- Have (1) one year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting
- Own your own phone, computer, and high speed internet
- Commit to a minimum of 5 hour commitment during core hours, after 4pm Monday through Friday and 8am-7pm Weekends
- Commit to a minimum of 1 day per week at our Centreville, VA clinic location

Salary Range
$90 - $100 USD
