Actuary

• Conduct actuarial analysis and modeling for Medicaid and/or CHIP programs

• Develop, review, and validate capitation rate methodologies and payment structures

• Evaluate healthcare utilization, cost trends, and risk adjustment models

• Prepare and present actuarial findings to internal stakeholders and government clients

• Ensure compliance with federal and state actuarial standards and regulations

• Support policy development and cost projection efforts

Required qualifications:

• Current Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or equivalent credential (e.g., FIA, FCIA)

• Minimum five (5) years of experience providing actuarial services related to Medicaid or CHIP

• Strong understanding of public health programs, rate setting, and managed care structures

• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills

• Proficiency with actuarial software tools and data analysis platforms (e.g., SAS, R, Excel)
