Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct actuarial analysis and modeling for Medicaid and/or CHIP programs

Develop, review, and validate capitation rate methodologies and payment structures

Evaluate healthcare utilization, cost trends, and risk adjustment models

Prepare and present actuarial findings to internal stakeholders and government clients

Ensure compliance with federal and state actuarial standards and regulations

Support policy development and cost projection efforts
Required qualifications:

Current Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or equivalent credential (e.g., FIA, FCIA)

Minimum five (5) years of experience providing actuarial services related to Medicaid or CHIP

Strong understanding of public health programs, rate setting, and managed care structures

Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills

Proficiency with actuarial software tools and data analysis platforms (e.g., SAS, R, Excel)

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and location. The targeted range for this position is $100,000 - $180,000.
