Production Support Engineer / Cloud Ops Engineer:

About role: Our Cloud team is responsible for architecting, developing, integrating, and operating Black Duck SIG products, solutions, services, and eco-system that will allow our customers to buy, monitor, and manage our software products on the cloud. We are looking for a passionate full-stack engineer with a zeal to learn to build and operate multi-tenant SaaS applications with cloud-native architecture from the ground up. We will be delivering world-class cloud solutions to our customers. Ability to communicate at various levels of the organization is highly desirable. Ability to work alone and exceptional verbal/written communication, leadership, interpersonal, and teamwork skills are necessary. The emphasis is on real-world experience in building, deploying, and operating distributed systems on a scale using cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Work on new generation cloud technology stack (AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform)
• Contribute to the development of tools for cloud product development (E.g. Develop plugins for Kubernetes in GoLang)
• As needed, work at various stages of agile SDLC: Development, test automation, build & deployment automation, monitoring
• Help with day-day operations tasked by the supervisor
• Work on developing components of a secure continuous delivery pipeline
• Flexible with rotational shifts which may include Night Shifts
• Flexible to work on weekends once in a month.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science
• 2+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Ops / Production Support.

Good to have:

• Excellent Computer science fundamentals (Algorithms, TCP/IP, Databases) and analytical skills
• Programming knowledge in Java/Python/Golang
• Strong Shell Scripting knowledge
• Good exposure on Cloud technologies and tools like Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Hashi Corp Vault
• Good exposure on Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Technologies
