With a team of ~50, we move fast and punch above our weight. From our labs in Freiburg - a university town in the Black Forest - and San Francisco, we're building what comes next.

What You'll Do

  • Build and ship high-quality web applications using Next.js and modern React patterns that make complex AI model interactions feel intuitive
  • Develop and maintain robust frontends for our model APIs—playgrounds where developers experiment, dashboards where businesses scale, and interfaces that handle high-volume media processing
  • Transform research breakthroughs into production-ready demos and MVPs, translating technical capabilities into compelling user experiences
  • Drive performance improvements for real-time inference and large-scale media generation workflows
  • Work closely with research, engineering, and go-to-market teams to ensure every technical capability lands as genuine customer value
  • Lead projects from concept to launch with minimal supervision, making thoughtful tradeoffs between speed, quality, and user needs

About You

  • Expert proficiency in Next.js, React, and TypeScript—not just syntax, but the judgment to make smart tradeoffs between performance, maintainability, and shipping speed
  • Proven track record shipping production web applications at scale, with strong debugging and problem-solving skills across the full stack
  • Strong product sense and ability to envision the right interface for complex technical capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills for translating technical features into customer benefits and collaborating with non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience leading projects from concept to launch with minimal direction in fast-paced startup environments
  • Energized by ambiguity, rapid iteration, and the unique challenges of building at the frontier

Even Better If You've

  • Built developer tools or creative applications (you understand how makers think)
  • Shipped interfaces for generative AI products (you've felt the unique UX challenges of probabilistic outputs)
  • Worked with A/B testing and growth infrastructure (you know how to learn from user behavior)
  • Contributed to open-source projects (you value building in public)
