(Senior) Reward Partner
Berlin
We are looking for a skilled (Senior) Reward Partner to join our ride at Blacklane’s People & Culture (P&C) team. In this key role, you will help us shape a competitive and attractive total rewards environment. Your focus will be on designing and optimizing compensation, benefits, and recognition systems to support the engagement and retention of top talent.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
- Lead initiatives in salary benchmarking, band reviews, and pay equity analysis. Support the design of bonus/ sales commission schemes and long-term incentive programs (e.g., Virtual Stock Option Plan - VSOP).
- Regularly review and refine existing benefits offerings. Design and implement new benefit programs to ensure they are competitive and attractive both locally and globally. Collaborate closely with the People Operations team for successful implementation.
- Ensure compliance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive by driving fair and equitable compensation practices and communicating pay policies transparently.
- Manage and execute Blacklane’s compensation review cycles, ensuring efficient processes and seamless execution.
- Educate and support people managers and P&C colleagues on total rewards principles, policies, and practices to ensure understanding and consistency across teams.
- Partner with People Partners, business leaders, and Talent Acquisition teams to align rewards strategies with broader business goals.
- Continuously review and improve processes, systems and documentation related to reward programs to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
ABOUT YOU:
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing compensation and benefits programs at scale. Global exposure is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to interpret and analyze data effectively, generating actionable insights and recommendations.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment where adaptability and comfort with frequent changes are critical to success.
- Strong conceptual skills for designing reward programs and a demonstrated ability to successfully implement them within scale-ups or similarly fast-moving organizations.
- Advanced proficiency in G Suite, particularly Google Sheets. You excel at manipulating, analyzing, and presenting data accurately and efficiently.
- Exceptional attention to detail in both numerical and written work. You are skilled at translating complex technical ideas and data into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
- Passionate about staying updated on global HR and total rewards trends. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving innovative solutions forward.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills required for collaborating across global teams.
