Candidate Experience Intern (all genders)

As a Candidate Experience Intern at Blacklane, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating a seamless, engaging, and inclusive employee journey that supports our global teams in delivering exceptional service.

By collaborating across teams, leveraging your organizational skills, creativity, and a passion for candidate engagement, and contributing to initiatives ranging from candidate journey or talent community building & sourcing, to team events and culture-building projects, you’ll help shape the future of mobility and deliver on our mission to provide sustainable, world-class chauffeur services.

 

Your Impact and Responsibilities

At Blacklane, we measure success by the meaningful change that each team member creates.
In this role, you’ll:

  • Ensure a smooth and welcoming candidate journey from first interaction to onboarding, creating a positive and lasting impression of Blacklane.
  • Support sourcing activities by helping identify and engage potential candidates, while ensuring a human and thoughtful approach during the early recruitment stages.
  • Assist recruiters and hiring managers throughout the hiring process — from interview scheduling to feedback coordination — ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and internal team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on people initiatives to foster a connected, informed, and engaged workforce across all departments
  • Continuously review and improve a wide variety of  HR processes and documentation to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and support scalable growth
  • Assist in planning and executing employer branding and engagement — from interview training for hiring teams to event preparation, strengthening both candidate and employee connection to Blacklane’s culture.

 

Your Internship Journey at Blacklane
Here’s what your experience with us could look like:

  • First 1–3 Months:
    Settle in and start contributing  → Get familiar with Blacklane’s culture, people, and processes. Meet your team and key stakeholders, and get hands-on with daily tasks that directly shape the candidate and new hire experience. Learn how the Candidate Experience function supports both recruitment and the wider People & Culture team — and start making an impact from day one.
  • Months 4–5:
    Grow your confidence and take ownership → Start to independently manage key tasks, support ongoing projects, and contribute ideas to improve processes. Collaborate with different teams to gain broader exposure and deepen your understanding of the candidate experience.
  • Month 6:
    Make a lasting impact → Lead a small project or initiative, apply what you’ve learned to suggest improvements, and reflect on your growth. By now, you’ll have helped shape experiences that matter to our people — and gained valuable skills for your next career step.
