Sales Manager - New York
Your Mission
As a Sales Manager for the New York region (covering New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania) you will drive the growth of Blacklane’s B2B client base, expanding our footprint across the Americas. You’ll be responsible for winning new business, nurturing long-term client partnerships, and ensuring a seamless experience that reflects Blacklane’s premium service standards. This role blends autonomy with cross-functional collaboration, giving you the opportunity to make a tangible impact in a dynamic and growing market.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth: Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across the New York region.
- Build client relationships: Establish and strengthen connections with corporate clients, travel managers, agencies, and key decision-makers.
- Manage sales pipeline: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline with accurate forecasting and consistent follow-up.
- Lead RFP/RFI processes: Navigate complex procurement cycles with support and guidance from senior leadership when required.
- Deliver tailored proposals: Create and present compelling, customized proposals and presentations that highlight Blacklane’s value proposition.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Sales Operations, Product, and Operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term client success.
- Represent Blacklane externally: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking forums to boost visibility and generate qualified leads.
- Leverage market insights: Capture and share client feedback, competitive intelligence, and market trends to refine and strengthen sales strategy.
About You
- 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in travel, mobility, hospitality, or related service industries.
- A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets through consultative, solution-oriented selling.
- Strong pipeline management, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Proactive, results-driven, and equally comfortable hunting for new business and nurturing existing accounts.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
- Fluent in English.

The salary range for this role is $86,000 – $107,000 annually with eligibility for performance-based bonuses and VSOP. Final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience.
