Sales Manager - German Speaking

Your Mission
As a German speaking Sales Manager you will focus on growing the European markets with a high focus on the DACH region. You’ll focus on expanding Blacklane’s B2B client base, nurturing long-term partnerships, and ensuring that every client experience reflects our premium global standards.
This is a hands-on commercial role combining strategic relationship-building with proactive business development — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and wants to make a real impact in a growing European market.
Your Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, pursue, and close new B2B opportunities across the DACH region.
- Build and strengthen relationships with corporate clients, travel managers, agencies, and key decision-makers.
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and consistent follow-up.
- Deliver compelling, tailored proposals and presentations that clearly articulate Blacklane’s value proposition.
- Lead and support RFP/RFI processes, navigating complex procurement cycles with professionalism and precision.
- Collaborate with internal teams — including Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, and Operations — to ensure seamless onboarding and client success.
- Represent Blacklane at industry events, trade fairs, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.
- Capture and share market insights, client feedback, and competitive intelligence to continuously refine the sales strategy.
About You
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally within travel, mobility, hospitality, or related service industries.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets through consultative, solution-oriented selling.
- Strong skills in pipeline management, negotiation, and closing.
- Proactive, results-driven, and equally comfortable hunting for new business and developing existing accounts.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken). French or another European language is a plus.
- Based in Berlin and willing to travel regularly within the DACH and EU region.

The salary range for this role is $86,000 – $107,000 annually with eligibility for performance-based bonuses and VSOP. Final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience.
