Alliances Manager, Salesforce

Role: Alliances Manager, SI (System Integrators)

Compensation: $150,000 - $165,000

What you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Blackthorn’s Consulting/Services Partners (SIs)
  • Drive sales by expanding the partnership network and increasing the awareness of Blackthorn products.
  • Identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities with Salesforce ecosystem leaders and sellers.
  • Liaise with internal teams like sales, marketing, and product development to align partnership strategies with company goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate Consulting/Services Partners’ (SIs) opportunity and relationship performance, providing regular reports to the VP of Alliances and other internal leaders and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure that Salesforce Consulting/Services Partners (SIs) are well-informed and trained on the latest product offerings, updates, and best practices.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise in Consulting/Services Partners (SIs) relationships alongside the VP of Alliances, maintaining a positive and productive working environment.
  • Regularly seek feedback from Blackthorn’s Consulting/Services Partners (SIs) and implement improvements in partnership management processes and strategies.
  • Establish and maintain a regular flow of leads from Blackthorn’s Consulting/Services Partners (SIs) for the Blackthorn Engagement Suite.
  • Work alongside the VP of Alliances and the broader Alliances team to develop, implement, and regularly review (for improvement) the Partner Management Program, including tiering, benefits, and other overall aspects. 

What we look for

  • 3+ years’ experience in SI Partnerships and/or Alliances; direct experience in the Salesforce ecosystem is a must 
  • Strategic and analytical thinker, able to blend technology vision and business strategy to deepen client relationships, ability to align technology with business objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer or partner needs into compelling business solutions
  • Ability to quickly understand Blackthorn Engagement Suite and communicate to audiences of varying expertise
  • Skilled at building relationships and influencing cross-functionally
  • Not afraid of getting your hands dirty & can maintain an execution-first mindset in a rapidly growing and changing environment
  • Demonstrable history of pipeline generation and annual quota achievement
  • Use of Salesforce as a business user, administrator, or other consistent capacity is encouraged as this position will store all data in Salesforce CRM
