Job Location:
This role is 100% on-site in Washington, DC.
Clearance:

Job Description:
Blake Willson Group is seeking a Associate to apply technical expertise to support audit response, audit remediation, internal controls, and financial processes. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating day-to-day communication, coordination, and collaboration to implement effective business solutions for federal government agencies and other large, complex organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply technical expertise to support the implementation of business solutions across financial and audit-related processes.
- Perform day-to-day facilitation, communication, and coordination to ensure effective collaboration between stakeholders.
- Support audit responses and audit remediation efforts in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS), and relevant OMB policies.
- Assist in evaluating and improving internal controls and financial processes to ensure compliance with State or Federal Government standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address findings and implement corrective actions.
- Provide documentation and reporting support to assist in audit preparation and audit follow-up activities.
- Interpret and apply federal accounting regulations to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience supporting audit response, audit remediation, internal controls, financial processes, and/or accounting in accordance with:
- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS)
- Relevant OMB policies
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with Federal audit processes and procedures is strongly desired.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
At Blake Willson Group, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation practices. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 in the United States. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
