Global Knowledge Management Operations Trainer
The Global Knowledge Management Operations Trainer is responsible for delivering in-person, virtual classes and evaluating training effectiveness within Boundless Learning and with external Academic Partners. The highest priority is the creation of training content from ideation, delivery of engaging and effective training programs which leverage the team’s skills to drive success and growth, while reporting on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
This role will also be responsible for working with management, supervisors, and associates to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to understand better changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies. The KM and Operations Trainer will create SharePoint pages and sites, knowledge articles, various internal knowledge resources, and operational documents. They will interact with Boundless Learning leadership and all levels of staff across the organization to ensure all organizational content is current and aligned.
Responsibilities
Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
- Develop global programs and curriculum for the employees of the organization for orientation and in-job training
- Create training content from ideation, design, and facilitation to completion, conduct needs analysis and complete
L3 surveys - Analyze the effectiveness of new hire training and workshops for the employees and develop appropriate modifications if needed
- Supports the Global Training and Quality Assurance teams by managing the Shelf platform.
- Improvement through the creation and administration of the overall Boundless Learning knowledge and information management strategy
- Create technical documentation for multiple audiences
- Interview subject matter experts and convert this information into troubleshooting documentation.
- Follow knowledge management best practices.
- Promote knowledge management to other areas within Boundless Learning
- Collaborate with the Boundless Learning management to identify training needs and schedule appropriate training sessions for employees
- Deploy and monitor legal compliance training according to the Boundless Learning compliance legal guidelines
- Develop systems to monitor and ensure employees are performing their responsibilities according to the training
- Ensure the compliance of the Boundless Learning employees to cooperate with standards and procedures during training session
- Provide support and mentoring for new employees while conducting an evaluation and identifying sections where improvements are needed
- Assist Boundless Training, Quality Assurance and Knowledge Management teams with development of training documentation and materials.
- Analyze training evaluations of Learner Acquisition, Student Support Services, and Quality teams to determine areas for improvement.
- Provide input for improvements to the overall training program and training curriculum.
- Assists Training Managers with coordinating and documenting training requirements for new projects and training initiatives.
- Work closely with the Instructional design team to develop training materials and review ISD created materials are effective and engaging for the corresponding training
- Expert knowledge of current training LMS, including but not limited to creating training modules, quizzes, reporting, etc.
- Developing reports that clearly show the learners' progress in the LMS.
- Assist in meeting departmental goals and special projects as needed.
- Experience in Camtasia, Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail. Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools Knowledge of curriculum design (classroom).
- Ability to adapt style and training, depending on business needs. Strong presentation skills along with strong time management the ability to break down complex to a level that is understood by all levels of experience and education.
- Proficient in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Responsible for training new, existing and employees in need of additional performance training for the specific job functions
Qualifications
- Four-year degree from an accredited institution in training/development/human resources/sales or equivalent
discipline OR combination of education and significant experience. Master’s Degree is a plus. - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a training and facilitation role
- Experience in Adult learning theory concepts, basic instructional concepts, and the ADDIE model
- General knowledge of the higher education industry
- Expert level proficiency in CRM solutions, MS Office and Consultative Sales Approach
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to share best practices across the trainer team ecosystem
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Highly motivational, energetic personality
- Collaborative; builds relationships with others
- Ability to travel to all locations (including, but not limited to: Chandler, Orlando, Chicago, Toronto) in support of the Boundless Learning team.
Requirements
- Requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings to accommodate students, departmental and company’s needs. This may include working more than 40 hours a week.
- This role is required to be full-time in Chandler, AZ.
