Junior Full-Stack Engineer (Web3)
Blockchain.com is the world's leading software platform for digital assets. Offering the largest production blockchain platform in the world, we share the passion to code, create, and ultimately build an open, accessible and fair financial future, one piece of software at a time.
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Junior Full-Stack Engineer to join our lean, high-impact team and help shape the future of Web3. You’ll contribute to building innovative financial and crypto-native products, services, and APIs, supporting the delivery of cutting-edge onchain solutions.
This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about Web3 and excited to grow in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.
As a junior member of the team, you’ll work across the stack—from developing intuitive user interfaces to contributing to backend services and assisting with smart contract integration. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and experienced engineers to help build intuitive, secure, and performant Web3 experiences.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design and build full-stack Web3 applications—including front-end components, APIs, and blockchain integrations.
- Collaborate proactively with our lean team, learning from peers and sharing your own insights as you grow.
- Tackle real-world challenges in the Web3 space, contributing to decentralized solutions with practical, hands-on engineering.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging the latest AI tools, frameworks, and advancements to get the job done.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Web3 Interest: A foundational understanding of blockchain technologies, cryptocurrencies, and Web3 development, with a strong desire to go deeper. Exposure to client-side signing or crypto transaction flows is a plus.
- Technical Foundations: Working knowledge of TypeScript and React, with exposure to Web3 libraries (e.g., web3.js, ethers.js) and wallet integrations, or a strong interest in learning them. Familiarity with backend development concepts, RESTful APIs, and working with databases. Exposure to smart contract development or eagerness to learn tools like Hardhat, Foundry, or Anchor.
- Initiative & Growth Mindset: Eagerness to take ownership of your work—writing, testing, and shipping front-end features with increasing independence.
- Problem-Solving: Willingness to ask questions, seek clarity, and refine ideas through collaboration with engineers, designers, and product stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Excitement to work across both Web2 and Web3 challenges, and the ability to adapt quickly in a high-growth environment.
- Commitment to Quality: An appreciation for clean, secure, maintainable code and an interest in learning best practices, including automated testing.
