Special Projects Lead

Dallas

Blockchain.com is on a mission to empower anyone in the world to control their own money. As a crypto industry leader since 2011, Blockchain.com plays a role in almost every major crypto business: from trading, to the most widely-used bitcoin wallet, to a foundational source of crypto data, to a robust global institutional business with billions in flow.

We are looking for a Special Projects Lead based in Dallas to work closely with the executive team and leadership on strategy, analysis, systems implementation, and operationalizing the company’s vision. This role blends strategic problem-solving with hands-on execution and will play a critical part in scaling our global operations.

This is a rare opportunity for a highly adaptable, execution-focused professional who is hungry to accelerate their career at the intersection of strategy, operations, and crypto. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders across continents and product lines and support the company on its most important initiatives.

You’ll work on the internet. Travel internationally. Meet some of the most important names in crypto and finance. And take on projects where the only certainty is the uncertainty of what tomorrow needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Partner with the executive team on high-priority strategic and operational initiatives across the business.
  • Develop deep subject matter expertise in Blockchain.com technology, crypto, and industry dynamics.
  • Project manage special initiatives across cross-functional teams, ensuring timely and effective completion.
  • Take temporary ownership of projects or functions until permanent solutions or teams are in place.
  • Drive cross-functional process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives to support global scale.
  • Track progress on strategic goals and prepare executive-level updates for leadership, the board, and other public-facing shareholders.
  • Run experiments and pilots to validate new business models, go-to-market strategies, or product ideas.
  • Act as a “first responder” for unexpected challenges or time-sensitive projects.
  • Provide structured analysis and modeling to support decision-making and business growth.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • A relentless & optimistic attitude, dedication to detail, and passion for crypto finance.
  • Dallas based, or willing to relocate
  • 4+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or relevant roles in tech/startups/entrepreneurship (esp. strategy, product ownership, or scaling operations).
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and modeling skills (Excel and/or SQL).
  • Highly organized, structured thinker with a systems mindset.
  • Ability to analyze complex topics, find the signal in the noise, and communicate insights simply.
  • Proven ability to execute projects quickly while maintaining a high-quality bar.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders and senior executives.
  • Thrives on ambiguity, data-driven problem solving, and fast-paced environments.

COMPENSATION & PERKS

  • Competitive full-time salary based on experience and meaningful equity in an industry-leading company
  • This is a hybrid role based in our Dallas office, with a mandatory in-office presence four days per week.
  • The opportunity to be a key player and build your career at a rapidly expanding, global technology company in an exciting, emerging industry.
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • Apple equipment provided by the company
  • Work from Anywhere Policy: You can work remotely from anywhere in the world for up to 20 days per year.

We also offer benefits that include medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, paid parental leave, flexible paid time off. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and full-time employees will receive equity as part of the compensation package. Note: Blockchain.com benefits programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
