
Trading Analyst, Korean Markets

We are seeking a highly motivated Trading Analyst to join our dynamic team in our London office, supporting a 24-7 cryptocurrency trading desk, with a focus on Korean markets. This role provides an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact within our fast-growing and innovative organization.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Monitor and analyze market trends, news, and economic data in Korea and Asian markets to identify trading opportunities and content for research reports
- Assist traders in the execution, booking and reporting of trades
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of trading and hedging strategies and market conditions
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly trading reports
- Collaborate with other team members to improve trading, booking and settlement processes and systems
- Assist in the management of trading risk and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated with industry developments and emerging market trends
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Native Korean language skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Keen interest in financial markets and trading
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach to trading
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure, make quick decisions and handle high volumes of transactions
- A keen interest in staying updated with trends and news in the fast-paced world of cryptocurrencies. Prior personal experience is a plus.
