Block was founded in 2017 on the simple premise that homeowners and contractors need a better way to renovate together. Looking at the $450 billion home renovation industry, our co-founders saw how technology could dramatically change the way renovations are done - from planning, through design and build. Since then, we’ve built a network of best-in-class contractors and developed a suite of digital tools that let homeowners plan and renovate confidently.
