The Position
The Bloomberg Philanthropies Summer Internship Program is designed to attract students whose academic interests and career goals align with our mission, while helping them develop a broad range of professional skills and experiences. As part of a cohort-based program, interns participate in an enriching and rewarding experience that offers exposure to the work of global philanthropy. Interns contribute directly to projects and assignments, allowing them to explore their interests, strengthen their skills, and gain meaningful experience from day one.
Throughout the summer, we host a variety of events, including presentations by our CEO and program teams, cultural outings, professional development workshops, and volunteer activities. Interns also have the opportunity to network with peers at Bloomberg LP and engage with senior leaders across the Company.
Interns are placed across departments such as Bloomberg Associates, Arts, Education, Environment, Government Innovation, Public Health, Greenwood Initiative, Events, Human Resources, Operations, Information & Technology, Grants Management, and Communications.
Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate:
- Currently enrolled in a university
- Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Available to work for the duration of 10 weeks from Friday, May 29th, to Friday, August 7th, 2026
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment
- Experience using Microsoft Suite
Pay Range Per Hour: $26
The referenced pay range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
