Customer Marketing Adoption Specialist

The Role

You should be a data-driven marketer with experience in Customer Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, or Product Marketing within a SaaS environment. You have a strong understanding of the customer lifecycle and a proven track record of creating and executing campaigns that improve onboarding, drive feature adoption, and support customer expansion and education efforts. You excel at using data to inform decisions, measure impact, and optimize performance, ultimately contributing to stronger customer outcomes and retention.  Additionally, you have experience with A/B testing for message refinement.

You will have a cross-functional collaboration with Product, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue teams to translate business goals into effective, customer-facing experiences across email and in-app channels. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment are essential. 

 

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement onboarding programs that facilitate smooth customer transitions and enhance initial product adoption.
  • Collaborating closely with Customer Education and Customer Success, you’ll leverage generative AI to strengthen program development and asset creation for educational content, webinars, and tutorials to support customers in understanding and utilizing our products/services effectively.
  • Monitor adoption metrics and adjust strategies as needed to optimize customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer lifecycle stages.
  • Utilize data to inform strategy adjustments and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the effectiveness of customer marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with product, sales, and customer support teams to ensure a unified approach to customer engagement.
  • Coordinate with the creative team to develop compelling marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Share insights and feedback with relevant departments to drive product and service improvements.
  • Continuously assess and enhance the customer experience across various touchpoints.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in the customer lifecycle process.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture within the organization by advocating for customer needs and preferences.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business, or a related field would be most ideal) and 5+ years of experience in customer marketing, life-cycle management, product marketing, or a related role.
  • Proven experience executing multi-channel campaigns (email, in-app, etc.) within the tech industry
  • Ownership of product adoption or feature engagement initiatives including developing release communications
  • Excellent writing and communication skills for external and internal audiences
  • Experience with data-driven decision making and campaign optimization within a fast-paced dynamic environment with a strong focus on results.

Nice to Haves But Not Required

  • Specific experience with Pendo, Salesforce, Marketo, and/or Gainsight 
  • Familiarity with AI tools for campaign content creation or automation
  • Background in nonprofit or experience marketing to nonprofit audiences
  • Familiarity with customer expansion campaigns

Compensation

The salary range for this position is: $69,500-$104,000.. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws

 

Location

This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
