The Role

We are seeking an innovative and data-driven Director of Marketing Operations to lead the engine that powers our marketing and top-of-funnel success. You will be a strategic partner to Marketing and Sales leadership, transforming our operational capabilities into a proactive, insights-driven powerhouse. The ideal candidate is a master of the MarTech stack, a builder of seamless processes, and a mentor who can elevate the skills and performance of the entire team. You will be responsible for creating the strategic roadmap for marketing technology and operations, ensuring our investments drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth.

What You Will Do

  • Strategic Leadership & Roadmap:
    • Develop and own the 12-month Marketing Operations roadmap, aligning with Marketing, Sales, and overall company objectives.
    • Act as the primary strategic advisor to Marketing leadership on operational best practices, funnel optimization, and process design.
    • Continuously evaluate the MarTech landscape, providing data-backed recommendations on new technologies,  innovations, and opportunities to leverage AI to maintain a competitive edge and scale marketing operations.
    • Support pipeline forecasting with lead-to-revenue predictability, helping leaders understand potential opportunities, levers, and risks.
  • Data, Analytics, & Insights:
    • Own the reporting and analysis of all marketing activities. Deliver clear, actionable insights to stakeholders on funnel performance, campaign ROI, and pipeline generation–and how this is driving business growth.  Examples include channel performance, inbound lead, top-of-funnel conversion rates, and funnel attribution.
    • Master our multi-touch attribution model using AI-driven and predictive analytics to provide deep insights into channel and program effectiveness.
  • Process, Scalability, & Documentation:
    • Architect and implement a foundation of scalable, documented processes for all marketing operations workflows, from campaign execution to lead management.
    • Protect and scale inbound by protecting against dirty data,GDPR/CCPA risks, and lead routing breakdowns.
    • Break down operational silos by standardizing workflows and integrating the Marketing Operations team's project management into the broader Revenue Operations ecosystem.
    • Drive operational excellence across the team, ensuring high-quality, efficient execution of all tasks.
    • Ensure insights and changes are adopted by GTM teams and new workflows are adopted.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing operations professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Set clear goals and priorities for the team, ensuring their work is directly aligned with strategic business needs.
    • Continuously staying ahead of market trends and business needs by scoping and planning for the future-state Marketing Operations team.
  • Technology & Systems Management:
    • Own the strategy, administration, and optimization of our core MarTech stack, including Marketo, 6Sense, Qualified, and Marketo Measure (Bizible).
    • Ensure our systems are configured to deliver a seamless customer experience and provide reliable data for decision-making.
  • Campaign & Program Operations Oversight:
    • Oversee the team's technical execution of high-volume email marketing programs (160-180 sends/month), ensuring flawless QA and delivery.
    • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all inbound leads, including webinar and trade show list loads (approx. 2 per week).
    • Provide technical support and operational configuration for key marketing programs, including trade shows and digital events.
    • Support for expansion and customer marketing, including upsell/cross sell campaigns and expansion motions.

What You Need to Succeed

  • 8+ years of experience in leading Marketing Operations, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing a strategic roadmap for a Marketing Operations function.
  • Experience with the planning and budgeting cycle in collaboration with Marketing leadership, including vendor negotiation and resource allocation.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise with marketing automation platforms (Marketo certification is highly preferred) and CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Demonstrable experience with advanced marketing technologies, including AI innovations, ABM platforms (e.g., 6Sense), attribution tools (e.g., Marketo Measure/Bizible), and conversational marketing tools (e.g., Qualified).
  • A metrics-obsessed mindset with strong analytical skills; you must be able to dig into data and surface actionable insights.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive, innovative, and solution-oriented mindset. You don't wait for problems to find you.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
