EMEA Accounting Manager
- We're taking autonomous search mainstream, making product discovery more intuitive and conversational for customers, and more profitable for businesses.
- We’re making conversational shopping a reality, connecting every shopper with tailored guidance and product expertise — available on demand, at every touchpoint in their journey.
- We're designing the future of autonomous marketing, taking the work out of workflows, and reclaiming the creative, strategic, and customer-first work marketers were always meant to do.
We're growing — and we're looking for an EMEA Accounting Manager to lead a talented team through a next chapter. Are you an experienced accounting leader who thrives on complexity, loves building great teams, and gets genuinely excited about modernizing finance operations?
About the Role
As our Accounting Manager, EMEA, you'll take ownership of accounting operations across 7 jurisdictions and 10 legal entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency across both US GAAP and local statutory GAAPs. You'll lead a team of accountants, drive audits to successful completion, and play a key role in standardizing processes across the region — all while championing the use of AI and automation to make our finance function smarter, faster, and more scalable. This is a role for someone who doesn't just manage the books — you elevate how accounting gets done. You will be working from one of our Central European offices (Bratislava, Prague, or Brno), or remotely (Czechia, Slovakia) on a full-time basis.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a team of accountants across multiple jurisdictions, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration
- Own accounting compliance under both US GAAP and local statutory GAAPs
- Drive statutory and external audits end-to-end — from planning through to clean, on-time completion
- Standardize processes and controls across entities, replacing fragmented local practices with scalable, best-practice workflows
- Champion automation and AI adoption within the accounting function, identifying opportunities to eliminate manual work and increase accuracy
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and HR to ensure smooth month-end close, reporting, and compliance
- Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, local advisors, and local statutory authorities
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing accounting operations across multiple countries/entities
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and exposure to multiple local statutory GAAPs
- Track record of successfully leading audits and managing external auditor relationships
- Experience standardizing and improving processes in a multi-entity or multi-country environment
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI, automation, and finance transformation
- Strong people leadership skills — you know how to build, coach, and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable working across cultures, time zones, and stakeholder groups
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
Why Join Us
This is a rare opportunity to shape how accounting is done across an entire region — combining deep technical ownership with real influence over process and technology. If you're excited about rolling up your sleeves on complex, multi-jurisdictional accounting and helping shape the future of the function through automation, we'd love to hear from you.
