The Content Business Unit is currently expanding our Account Management team, we’re looking for a new colleague as Strategic Account Manager (AM) to manage a significant portion of the Content Business Unit’s portfolio including key Enterprise clients such as Capital One, Hilton, Ahold Delhaize & Victorias Secret. Could you be the one?The job of Account Manager is to:
- Own the relationship with key accounts and key partners (who we share many of our customers with)
- Ensure renegotiation of contracts at or ahead of the point of renewal
- Identify and execute upsell and cross sell opportunities.
This role reports directly to the General Manager for the Content Business unit.Responsibilities:
- Act as the “CEO” of your customer book of business, responsible for driving Bloomreach revenue growth with successful renewals, upsells and services growth
- Leverage your business acumen to analyze key account metrics, develop strong customer relationships (IT, Marketing) & understand customer goals
- Executing on expansion opportunities within your portfolio of clients that are a part of a large corporate group or government
- Use your digital technology experience to understand and discuss complex products and identify ways to optimize product performance
- Proactively own and execute renewals in key accounts
- Respond to or assist partners with RFP’s, bids and other tenders to grow our footprint at our install base and with potential new customers
- Lead business planning and quarterly review process as well as regular pipeline review and forecasting activities
- Succeed in a team selling environment, partnering with Professional Services for maximum account penetration and coverage (Brand and Geographic)
- Consistently forecast monthly and quarterly performance within a 10% margin of error from actual bookings
- Stay abreast of industry changes and trends
- Confidently communicate the Content value proposition
- Negotiate deals and contracts at various levels within the targeted account, with primary focus/importance on “C” and enterprise level negotiations
- Budget responsibility for Travel and Entertainment to maximise your book of business
Professional Experience:
- 7+ years of quota carrying experience in selling software or software-as-a-service (SaaS), or in Digital agency where Enterprise Website design and build projects have been a core revenue stream
- Good knowledge of Digital Marketing including necessary and supplementary technologies for websites to function optimally
- Strong understanding of account planning and leveraging an ecosystem, including partners, internal stakeholders, execs, and others to meet objectives
- Able to successfully negotiate and close deals at C-level
- Sales is an important component of this role. Must be a professional enterprise seller with a proven history of hitting and exceeding quota. Knowledge and use of CRM and forecasting tools is required
- A great team player who takes the lead in driving initiatives, working across teams (Product Management, Services, Inside Sales, Field Sales, Engineering, Marketing) and structuring approaches to sales opportunities
- Detail oriented, relationship-building skills, and a focus on a high level of customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including high calibre presentation skills
