As a Technical Consultant (TC), you lead the technical delivery of Bloomreach Product Discovery implementations for EMEA and APAC enterprise commerce customers. You act as the primary technical point of contact during onboarding and complex enhancement projects, designing and guiding integrations across product feed, tracking, APIs, and dashboard configuration to ensure a successful go-live and measurable business value. You will remotely support customers primarily across Europe, and where needed APAC, collaborating effectively across time zones.

You’ll work closely with Solutions Architects, Service Delivery Managers, Technical and Business Consultants, Product Engineering, and client development teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and deliver high-quality implementations on time and within scope.

Key responsibilities

Client integration & solution delivery

  • Own the technical implementation of Bloomreach Discovery from kickoff to post–go-live transition for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with pre‑sales Solution Architects to understand committed scope and confirm the features and use cases that must be implemented on the customer’s site as part of handover.
  • Product feed integration:
    • Consult clients on how to model and generate their product catalogs for Discovery.
    • Work with internal tools/teams to ensure feed data is correctly ingested, validated, and optimized in the Bloomreach platform.
  • Pixel / tracking integration:
    • Advise on implementing the Bloomreach pixel / Web SDK for behavioral tracking and events (search, browse, cart, purchase, etc.).
    • Coordinate with internal engineering/analytics teams to validate that tracking data is received and mapped correctly.
  • API integration:
    • Guide client developers on using Bloomreach Discovery APIs (search, category, recommendations, autocomplete) to power storefront experiences.
    • Provide reference implementations and patterns to address customer-specific use cases (e.g., multi‑site, multi‑language, complex merchandising logic).
  • Dashboard & merchandising enablement:
    • Configure and sanity-check account settings and integrations in the Discovery admin tools.
    • Consult customers on how to use merchandising rules, boosting, and other tools to meet business goals.

Quality assurance, go‑live, and transition

  • Maintain a Go‑Live Health Checklist covering feed, tracking, APIs, search relevance, and dashboard configuration, and ensure all critical items are signed off before launch.
  • Support go‑live cutover, monitoring performance and key events, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve any launch‑critical issues.
  • After a defined hyper‑care period, transition the account to Support / Customer Success, ensuring that known issues, configuration, and project documentation are clearly handed over.

Collaboration & internal improvements

  • Work with Service Delivery Managers and Project Managers to keep projects on track, proactively highlighting risks, dependencies, and scope challenges.
  • Liaise with Support to investigate and resolve complex technical issues on existing Discovery accounts when TC expertise is required.
  • Identify gaps in customer-facing and internal documentation, and contribute updates, runbooks, and examples to improve repeatability and quality of future projects.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to:
    • Validate new features in pilot implementations.
    • Provide structured feedback from the field.
    • Review Product Requirements and technical designs where TC input is needed.

Required skills & experience

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Technical background:
    • JavaScript (browser and integration patterns), HTML, CSS.
    • HTTP/REST APIs, JSON, authentication patterns.
    • 3+ years in a technical services, solutions engineering, implementation consulting, or similar role in a SaaS / e‑commerce / martech environment (P2 level).
