This ranges from our EUC/Office environments to Trading and Core service Co-Location Data Centres, and extends to Public Cloud, delivering top-tier technology services to a dynamic and demanding Trading organisation.

Role overview:

As a member of our London-based Infrastructure and Platform Engineering team, this position involves assistance with the design, engineering, and support of the migration of core services to the M365 platform. The position requires a hands-on approach to ensure a seamless transition and optimal performance of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Migration of Exchange 2016 to Exchange Online: The role involves assisting and aiding in the planning, executing, and overseeing the migration process. This includes ensuring data integrity, minimal downtime, and seamless transition for users.
• Configuration and Deployment of Intune for Mobile Devices: The engineer will be responsible for configuring and deploying Intune for BYOD. This includes setting up policies, ensuring security compliance, and providing support for end-users.
• M365 Copilot Integration: The role involves leveraging M365 Copilot to enhance productivity and streamline workflows within the organisation.
• Azure OpenAI Utilization: The engineer will utilize Azure OpenAI services to develop and implement AI-driven solutions that support the organisation's IT infrastructure and operations.
• On-Premise Platform Expertise: The role requires in-depth understanding and hands-on experience with on-premise platforms such as Exchange 2016, VMware, Active Directory, Mimecast, Blackberry Work and Enterprise Vault. The engineer will manage, troubleshoot, and optimize these systems as needed.

Experienced required:

• Migration Experience: Proven track record of successful migrations from on-premise services to the M365 suite.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Exchange 2016, VMware and Active Directory.
• Diagnostic Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
• Project Management: Experience in managing IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
• The role will involve collaboration with various departments and teams to ensure smooth implementation and transition.

The ideal candidate is analytical and methodical, with a proven track record in project delivery, problem-solving, advanced engineering and technology service delivery in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.

The candidate should have extensive experience working both independently and as part of a diverse team, meeting both broad and specific project/BAU objectives. This role requires excellent organisational skills, open communication, and a collaborative approach.
