Chief Revenue Officer
About the Position
Bluefish is entering a critical growth phase and is seeking a high-impact Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) who will own the entire revenue lifecycle, including go-to-market strategy, new logo acquisition, customer expansion, and the systems and teams to support long-term growth.
This is a highly hands-on role requiring both strategic leadership and direct execution. You will define and execute our GTM strategy and own the full revenue function including sales, post-sales and growth. You will report directly to the CEO and be accountable for delivering strong revenue outcomes quickly in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver revenue results quickly, taking ownership of bookings, growth, and revenue performance across the full customer lifecycle
- Drive both new logo acquisition and post-sale expansion, including renewals and long-term customer growth
- Own revenue forecasting, pipeline health, and predictability across new and existing customers
- Personally lead and close complex, high-ACV enterprise deals ($1M+ ACV)
- Develop, execute, and iterate on the company’s go-to-market strategy with limited existing infrastructure
- Partner with marketing to define and execute demand generation and pipeline creation strategy
- Establish clear revenue metrics, targets, and accountability
- Build and own the end-to-end revenue engine, including pipeline generation, forecasting, and the transition to a scalable sales organization
- Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing revenue organization, including sales and post-sales leadership
- Serve as a core member of the leadership team and strategic partner to the CEO
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to ensure customer feedback informs roadmap and GTM
Qualifications
- Proven experience owning and scaling revenue in an early-stage, high-growth startup environment
- Track record of delivering revenue results through both new logo acquisition and customer expansion with Fortune 500 companies
- Experience building, leading, and scaling revenue functions, including processes, systems, and leadership hires
- Experience owning revenue performance across the full customer lifecycle, including acquisition, retention and expansion
- Familiarity with martech ecosystems, buying cycles, and brand decision-makers
- Strong understanding of AI concepts and marketing data platforms
- Comfort working in fast-paced, high-intensity, ambiguous environments
- Experience partnering closely with founders and executive teams
