Junior Guest Operations Specialist (6-month contract)

We are currently looking for a Junior Guest Operations Specialist (6-month contract) to join our Operations team in Lisbon. In this role, you will mainly be responsible for supporting the operations team to create and execute project plans according to Blueground’s furnishing standards and brand style directions.

What you will focus on:
  • Assist our Operation Team in the set-up of the apartments
  • Prepare floor plans and support furnishing design as a liaison between operations and product teams, and external logistics providers
  • Enter all the relevant data into the Blueground system and inform the related departments and people about the status
  • Perform apartment viewings for potential guests as well as apartments that we potentially onboard to our Blueground portfolio
  • Be a point of contact between our guests and the Customer Experience team
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to work along with the Operations team in resolving property management-related issues
  • Complete small maintenance tasks when needed to ensure a positive guest experience
  • Supervise handymen while working on resolving an emergency in our apartments (locksmith, plumber, etc.)
What we are looking for:
  • A ‘doer’ mentality, willingness to spend time on the ground between our apartments in the most prestigious neighborhoods of Lisbon
  • Fluency in both Portuguese & English
  • Good in oral and written communication
  • Problem solver, with a good eye for detail and a can-do attitude suitable in a fast-growth, startup environment
  • Flexible with working hours
  • A positive, confident, upbeat and friendly personality
